Main: Disgruntled Thought of the Day

For a while now I have been called, by persons close to me, a disgruntled person. I started to think about this and see other persons who also seem disgruntled about the news, politics, and behavior and world events. I started to realize that being disgruntled came from being sensitive to so many things that seem wrong, choosing not ignore them yet feeling a sense of helplessness to change them. I started to see that being somewhat disgruntled is normal if we are to stay “awake” to what is happening in the world around us.

I was thinking about creating this page for a “Disgruntled Thought of the Day” for a while. But three of the headlines on the front page of today’s newspaper pushed me over the top. They are: “Downturn sours dairying”, “Lobbyists win big in payday loan fight” and “Feces leaking into waterways”. All three directly affect my family, friends and me.

You are welcome to send in your disgruntled Thought of the Day to
