DiaryOfAWorm: Oil, Music, Green

“There will be blood”

At the end of June it is time for an ‘easy essay’ in the spirit of Peter Maurin

The month of June ends.
The endless war in Iraq continues.
But maybe now that the major oil companies are resuming control of Iraqi oil,
The end of the war is in sight.
All the reasons for starting the war, weapons of mass destruction, connection of Iraq to 9/11, Iraq’s nuclear threat, saving human lives, except one, control of the oil, have been proven false.
Ninety percent plus of the small Christian community in Iraq has been killed or gone into exile.
This is just one small example of the massive failure of the war that must end.
Blood for Oil was the theme of a recent hit movie and seems to be the reality of this war.
It was oil all along.

At the soul of the nonviolent revolution that has and is taking place in Venezuela is music not oil.
Music, like with the Guitars for Vets, is a healing power.
In Venezuela Music is everywhere and for everyone.

All nonviolent revolutions are rooted in the hearts of human beings grounded in nature and reaching for the beyond. It is the one-person revolution as Ammon Hennessey used to say.
My new care and concern for my own garden is the best thing I do for the gardens of others.
The Green revolution in food will be one garden or one farm at a time
